Mehri Khalil

Mehri Khalil is an Egyptian artist and arts administrator. She has had three solo exhibitions in Cairo and has participated in group exhibitions. She is also a PhD candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where she explores transcultural influences on art, and more particularly, Egyptian artists in Paris, which complements her own practice and research interests.

Mehri has previously worked in museums, schools and consultancies. She holds a master’s degree in Arts Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (’12) and a bachelor’s degree from the American University in Cairo in 2009.

مهرى خليل فنانة مصرية ومتخصصة في ادارة الفنون.

لديها ثلاثة معارض فردية في القاهرة وشاركت في معارض جماعية.

هي تعد حاليا رسالة الدكتوراه في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة بفيينا التي تستكشف فيها الآثار التبادلية للثقافات المختلفة في مجال الفن ولاسيما في اعمال الفنانين المصريين الذين تواجدوا في باريس.

وقد عملت سابقا في متاحف، مدارس و مكاتب استشارية. حصلت مهرى عام 2012 على شهادة الماجستير في ادارة و سياسة الفنون من The School of the Art Institute of Chicago بشيكاغو، الولايات المتحدة بعد ان حصلت على شهادة البكالوريوس من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة في عام 2009.
